Poetry Reading

In February 2014, I released a compilation of poetry that celebrates love and resilience in the time of organised prejudice and homophobic as well as ill-informed rhetoric. I hoped to reach audiences in an attempt to ensure that there was a voice of a Southern African artist who was not afraid to speak as a man who openly loves the same gender on the African continent. This was also a way to disprove the old rhetoric that Homosexuality is unAfrican. I also used this platform to celebrate my Ndebele Heritage through lessons from my grandmother.
